aiyoooohhh.. just realised i havent update in days! muahahaha..

ok b4 my blog goes stagnant, here's the updates for a few days.. on Monday, had to stay back for a meeting on youth probation with MCYS and MUIS.. the main discussion was regarding the programs in store for these youths.. we'll be having a collaboration with Masjid Kampong Delta for the first program and starting from the second one onwards, we'll be doing the programs individually..

on Tuesday, had tuition lessons wit the sisters.. not so bad now cos the lil one has learnt to listen to instructions.. only that both of them will argue once in a while.. still, by then, i dreaded the rest of the week cos i'm already so weary..

on Wednesday, i had Arab lessons after werk.. let me share some of the phrases i learnt..

ok dats bout it.. i'll update again after i have finished next week's class..

so, yesterday, taught tuition again.. tho very worn out, still enjoyed the lesson cos Fitri's more 'opened' now.. k, i noe the sentence might sound a lil lame but i dunno how to put it.. hahaha.. Last time, whenever i talk to her, she'll just giggle and giggle and won't answer the question.. after much persuasion, then she'll say something.. (which usually, isn't relevant to the question) *grinz* now, she's more talkative and asks questions and so on..

today is a much relaxing day.. no jualan cos some stewpid bugger complained to ENV and we're forced to stop all jualan.. yeap, i shud be thankful cos no more jualan on Friday but, the worst thing is we, the staff, have no food to eat!!!! *grrrr* everyday must fork out money to buy food outside.. can bengkok man like dat!!

later, there'll be a forum entitled "Hilang Kasih Hilang Sayang.. Di mana IMAN?" still contemplating if i shud go.. anyone wanna join me?

had a whole lot of fun yesterday.. met up with switheart after work and went to bedok.. ate at the hawker centre.. the food was quite cheap.. $2.50 for a plate of chicken rice and $3.00 for fried chicken rice.. then, went to catch Hide and Seek at Princess cinema.. the price of the tix was on 7 buckeroos per person but ermmm.. dont expect to be pampered cos the seats arent really comfy cushion.. but well, we'll make do.. hahaha..

after the show, went to Costa Sands @ East Coast for darling Nashitah's surprise burfday bash.. came early tho.. so helped a lil wif the decorations.. got a lil awkward cos i only knew her sistaz and meya there.. so, took a lil walk with switheart while waiting for nash to arrive..

meya called abt 20 mins later saying nash and wan were already at EC.. so headed back to the chalet.. we had the doors closed and when nash was outside, we burst out and wished her Happy Burfday!!! hehehe.. guess she must have been extremely touched.. *hugs*

ate quite a lol cos her sis had some barbeque.. and of course, a birthday bash can never be complete without a photo-taking session..

left around 9pm.. b4 i left, gave the burfday girl a BIG, FAT KISS on the cheek... hehehe.. i just love my frenz!

and yeap, a lil disappointed tho cos the NP gathering among the grads were cancelled cos some of the peeps couldnt make it.. some other tyme perhaps..

ok now to serious matters..

had the post mortem for Korban last Thursday.. and to me, the meeting was a failure cos there's no lesson learnt..

tell me the objective of having a post mortem.. is it to bring up problems from the project so we can improve on them in future? or is it to stand firm that whatever you did is right and not accept mistakes??

well, disappointing as it is, Halid thinks option 2 is ryte.. before the meet, i called him to remind him bout it.. he asked me what topics will be brought up.. i think he's kinda scared tt pple will shoot him during the meeting.. then, he tried to psycho me to back him up.. said things like we work as a team and even if things dont go well, we tried our best.. even said that he'd do anything to protect us and even FOUGHT FOR OUR 3-DAY LEAVE! he had the cheek to claim it's his job when the fact is, the leave was given by abg Halim.. tak tau malu seyyy!

when he came, he asked where's Cikgu (the Chairman of Al-Falah, who happens to haf the same thinking as him).. told him Cikgu's coming late and trus member cuak sey..
as expected, Cikgu came early.. he must have told Cikgu to come cos he wont haf back up..

during the meeting, administration dept had the most criticisms.. among them:

1) the stoopid numbering system that made the people confused
2) using halid's number as the main contact person
3) no briefing/liasing with all depts
4) no contingency plan
5) too strict with crowd control (people are forced to sit down and not walk about)
6) complaints from jemaah
7) name tags that sounds funny (e.g. Penangkap Kambing)

proceeded with other departments after tt.. ended close to 10.. luckily, kak alisa offered to drive us home.. *phew*

still feeling lethargic tho.. think my body needs rest.. looking forward to tomorrow.. but for today, i'm gonna enjoy myself... woooooooooohoooooooo!!!

i think i last updated on Saturday's incidents.. so here's what happened the past few dayz..

Sunday

yeap, it was my elder bro's 26th burfday.. went out for lunch at Sakura Eastpoint.. sayang came together wif us but we met up at Tamp first while the rest of the family came by van..

ate quite alot.. the table was totally filled with food.. i ordered Claypot Chicken Rice and i'd rate it 8.5/10.. the service was great too..

after the family outing, walked ard at Pet Safari.. too bad there's no more cats there or i'd be going goo-goo-gaa-gaa over them.. haha..

sayang followed my family back cos he had to go back to TRACOM ard 8 and it was already 6+.. after maghrib, me and lil bro accompanied him to Sheng Shiong to get snacks for the week..

and its alwiz a sad moment parting wif him.. din manage to send him to the bus stop cos had to follow my bro to the barber.. *sigh* and havent met him since.. sayang, i miss u loads.. and it goes the same for all my dear buddies.. i can't wait to meet u peeps this Saturday (*hint *hint).. i'm not saying y, where or what! my lips r sealed! *winks*

Tuesday

tuition tyme!! had to teach the sisters again.. today is not so bad.. finally found a way to 'tame' the lil sis.. all i have to do is threaten not to mark her work and she'll erase all the crap she's written and do her work proper.. her kakak not so bad lar but she's alwiz tired.. and i dun blame her cos she's in the afternoon session afterall.. came home ard 7pm and by 7.30, had to start tuition.. hardly have tyme to rest her mind.. wonder what i could do to make it better.. more interesting lessons maybe?? hmmm..

and just received news dat there'll b a meeting this Thurs at work so had to cancel Thurs lesson.. still dunno when to make up for it.. hmmm...

Wednesday/Today

best day so far.. not dat much things to do YET.. and, the best thing is, Arab lesson is back! can't wait..

ouh btw, something interesting happened today.. hehehe.. just now, there's this makcik who came to ask for bantuan.. so, as usual, i have to get the form for her and things like dat.. asked her to fill up and she said she's not really good at reading.. so, i filled up the rest of the info..

then, i noticed she's super chatty but there's a slur in her pronunciation.. she started talking merepek.. she mentioned she need medication from woodbridge lah.. seram seyyy!! she was standing next to me and chatting and chatting and chatting.. said that kalau dia tak dapat ubat nanti dia meracau..

kak alisa pulak pegi melayan.. she said she knows this man talking outside alfalah and said kereta dia besar lah.. boleh muat 6 org lah.. kak alisa went like "ehhh?? iyerr kerrrr??" u noe those like makcik-makcik kepo punya style..

really had to control my laffter cos she was so funny.. and like she doesnt even notice we were laffing at her.. and kak alisa made matters worst.. among us, she's the worst at maintaining her laffter.. so, her whole body shook to the extend that i cant control.. trus angkat kaki kluar bilik seh.. hahahha..

later kak mas said that she even ask "lawa tak make-up saya??" and when offered Mentos, she commented out loud "mentang-mentanglah saya dari mentol, nak kasi saya mentos" then she laffed.. weird kan??

nak kasi dia blah cepat punya pasal, kak mas gave her a $50 note.. she requiested for smaller change.. so gave her 5 $10s.. still not contented, asked for $2.. then even asked for coins.. haiyahhhh...

before she left, she asked, "boleh derma tak?" so we say canlah.. she turned to me and asked me to temankan dia.. sayng something like "kak, mari ikut saya.. nak masukkan duit dalam tabung nie.. nanti duit dia terbang kang susah!!" the moment i stepped out, the office was bursting wif laffter.. hahaha..

ok i noe we r bad, laffing at these kind of people but they're like so ignorant to the surroundings and dat made their actions so cute.. hehehe.. u get what i mean??

k i gtg cos da class is gonna start soon.. ciaozzzzzzzz..

had an enjoyable time yesterday.. had dinner with switheart's family at CCK last nite..

went out wif switheart at abt noon to get a new Starhub line cos my bills now are wayyyyyyyy too much to pay every month.. drove ard cos dear rented a car for the day.. quite affordable lah.. $80 for a Toyota Altis for 24 hrs..

went to Tampines ferst.. but as usual, the Starhub shop is alwiz full of people.. so, tot of getting it somewhere else.. b4 we go, went to Old Chang Kee and bought the super yummy curry puff and squid head.. hehehe.. addicted oready wor!

had about 6 more hours b4 the dinner.. so drove ard till abt 5.. went to Bukit Panjang Plaza and ta-da.. there's a small Starhub shop there and i finally got a new line and of course a new phone.. Nash is gonna whack me if she reads this cos i got a 7260.. *covers head* hehehe..

so, walked ard fer a while there and switheart bought me a necklace... so shweet.. thanx sayang!! *grinz* then finally headed off to CCK..

i was starting to get sweaty palms on the way.. felt really nervous cos it's the first time meeting the whole family after quite some time.. there's gonna be his parents, and about 8 of his aunts and uncles.. altogether, there were 13 people including me and switheart.. seram seyyyy! my tummy started to haf cramps too.. i think i look kinda comical cos switheart laffed at my reactions.. hehehe..

after the whole family had arrived, we settled down.. had to join 2 tables cos all the long tables were full.. quite sucky service tho.. do you ask for payment everytime you serve one dish?? it's like paying separately for all the food served.. crap isn't it??

we finished eating ard 11+.. chatted for a while and finally left ard 12.. switheart sent his aunt, uncle and grandfather home first b4 sending me off.. kesian dia.. dah lah penat, kena hantar pulak tue..

stayed at my house till 1.. talked wif him on the phone halfway thru cos had a tummyache.. i guess i overate yesterday.. hahaha..

dead tired today.. had tons of things to do at work.. in the morning, went pinning up posters ard the mosque for the upcoming classes.. next, kak mas told me to follow yazid to the oub bank in lau pa sat area to learn how to bank in salary.. so took a cab there..

met my uncle there.. chatted for a while wif him before goin off.. upon reaching work, had to sort of a few hundred receipts accordingly.. lucky for me, khai was helping me out.. otherwise, i don't think i would be blogging now.. haha..

switched off my hp cos my batt was low.. had to count all the coins we had in the safe.. and the coin counter doesn't have an automatic sorter so u have to go by batches.. like 50 cents first, then 1 dollar and so on..

had a surprise visit from dearie.. well, not really a surprise visit.. he msged me b4hand but i offed my phone.. so, cudnt get the msg.. dear was from peninsula and just had a jamming session with his frenz.. but he's the only one who went over to Al-Falah..

waited for me to finish my work and sent me allllllll the way to Pasir Ris for my tuition.. poor him.. really appreciate it dear..

went to McD to get a bite.. ordered McSpicy Double and shared it wif dear cos he'd already eaten..

after that, he accompanied me till i was at the corridor of my tutee's house.. hehehe.. initially offered to fetch me after tuition but we finally decided not to.. and dats bcos if he were to wait for me, it's not 1 or 2 but... 3 LONG HOURS OF WAITING! i mean, if it were me, i'd die of boredom.. ehehehe..

just got back from tuition.. and it's one hell of a tuition lesson.. both sisters were trying to catch my attention and i was like "huh?" turned to Fitri and Putri would like "kakak, kakak.." turned to her and Fitri would ask sumthing.. luckily, i still had a shred of patience left in me or otherwise, i'd haf lost it..

finally, Putri finished her lesson cos i start with both of them from 7.30pm.. Putri finishes at 8.30 to 9.00 depending on how much she could absorb.. cos when she doesn't wanna do sumthing, if you ask her to do it, she'd purposely do the opposite.. sometimes, i wonder how i could stand it.. hehehe.. so, at 9.00, Fitri would carry on with the second subject.. usually, i'd teach Eng and Maths on Tues and Sci and Malay on Thurs..

you might ask me how i could handle it.. yeah.. working from 9am to 6pm and then teaching tuition after dat.. the fact is that i don't like it either.. i'm starting to haf eye bags and my body's not as well as it used to be.. feel lethargic most of the tyme.. but times have changed.. i gotta be independent and stand up on my own 2 feet.. furthermore, if i wanna get married early, i gotta haf some sideline jobs and not only focus on my admin job..

*sigh* i dunno what to say anymore.. my brain's shutting down.. good nite..

before you proceed, just to inform that this is a general entry and has nutting to do with my life..

some pple are just ridiculous.
claim to be serious in a relationship but YET will pounce on the next desperate girl who's willing to be with them.
juz what are they thinking?

these pple juz dont deserve to be loved.
trapping unknowing girls with their "undying love" and yet, dumping those girls when they get sick of them.

reasons given, u might ask?
lame things like i dont know if i still love you.
or i dunno what true love is like.
and the lamest thing is when you say these things when ur already with the person for a few years.

but yet, they can find another girl in the blink of an eye.
crap ryte?
if you dunno what's luv, then y bother to be in a relationship?
you might as well use the time to do some soul-searching and find out the true meaning of luv rather than juz toying with pple's feelings.

a few advices to these people.

GET A LIFE. GROW UP.

dont wait until its too late cos when that special someone leaves you one day, u're gonna regret it BIG TIME. cherish them while u still can.

once again, i repeat that this has nuttin to with me. i'm just using this as a medium to vent my anger.

had lotsa fun yesterday..

wasn't working cos i switched off days with kak mas.. went out with with my hunny.. watched Shaolin & the Evil Dead.. the zombies were quite realistic and i was just about to rate the movie as 8/10 when suddenly, the movie ended abruptly.. i was like "what the heck happened??" terus my opinion of the movie changed.. it SUCKS.. hate movies with abrupt endings.. don't noe bout u but to me, it makes the viewers feel cheated.. hmph!

after that, went over to clarke quay to spend quality tyme with dear.. had our Asar prayers first before the moment that i've been waiting for came - the part where we exchange letters..

yes. we wrote a letter for each other.. whatever we wanted to say after knowing each other for 3 yrs plus now.. initially, i told him to write at least 4 pages long but in the end, i only wrote 2.. hehehe.. sorrie dear..

so, to continue the story, we exchanged letters and i read out loud what he wrote for me.. felt really touched by his 4-page-long letter.. really felt like crying but i held back the tears.. instead, i laffed alot to cover up my feeling.. but he knew.. hehehe.. of course he would know.. i could never hide my feelings from him..

then, it was his turn to read my letter.. even tho it was short, he said it touched his feelings too.. hehehe.. you shud try it u noe.. write a letter for ur loved ones and read it by the river.. oh-so-very-romantic.. hehehe.. not that i'm the romantic sort but guess it's okay to be romantic once in a while.. *blush*

went to eat at one of the coffee shops near Clarke Quay.. nice food and cheap prices! ate mee rebus and dear had nasi campur..

went for Maghrib prayers and after that, walked over to Peninsula for window-shopping! went to the cheap shoe shop there to see if there's anything that's of my interest there.. and yupppp!! saw a nice pair of shoes.. gotta keep in mind to buy that soon..

went back after that.. dear din came into my house cos he met my parents yesterday.. furthermore, my mum wasn't home..

accompanied him till he nearly reached home but my battery was low.. so told him i'd call him again later... heheh...

Masaaul khair?? Kaifa haalukum??

hehehe.. had my first Arab lesson yesterday.. powerrrrrr.. the Ust who taught us was Ustaz Syed Mustafa Alsagoff, a teacher from Madrasah Aljunied.. met him once during the Korban but i din haf any idea how hilarious his lessons could be..

the whole class was rather supportive.. they asked questions whenever needed and gave responses to the Ustaz..

so far, we havent actually lerant conversations in arab yet.. cos the module i'm learning is Arabic in English for Beginners Part I.. so, had to start with all the arab alphabets first..

then, had a break for Isya prayers.. we were supposed to come back after the break.. but khai asked me if i could write a letter for one of his youth.. cos during Korban, he was involved and i think he missed some lessons..

so, by the tyme i finished, it was ard 9.15.. only 15 mins left for the class and i furthemore, i can't possibly just barge in to the classroom..

looking forward to next lesson.. hope we will be learning conversations soon.. hehehe..
